The elevated pier at the Bagdad Mill Site Park extends out into a narrow channel of the Blackwater River and offers a waterfront view where Pond Creek converges with the main river channel. This scenic landscape was once dominated by the timber industries use of the waterways for transportation of raw and finished products, very little evidence of those structures are visible today.
