Originally a cabin built in 1916 and replaced in 1928 with a log cabin with a cupola. In 1950 the outlook was built. Sitting at 6,659 feet above sea level with a view of the Seven Devil Mountains, Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, the Great Burn area, and the North Fork Clearwater River.
