The Virginia Capital Trail is a dedicated, paved pedestrian and bicycle trail that connects the Commonwealth’s past and present capitals of Jamestown and Richmond along the Scenic Route 5 corridor. The Trail traverses approximately 52 miles, four jurisdictions, and more than 400 years of history along one of the first inland routes in North America.
This 0.69 km paved segment of the Virginia Capital Trail passes by Jamestown High School in Williamsburg, with an elevation of 15.4 meters. The trail section offers cyclists and pedestrians a safe, dedicated pathway as part of the larger 52-mile historic route connecting Virginia's colonial capitals of Jamestown and Richmond along the scenic Route 5 corridor.
