<b>Carova Beach</b>, also called <b>Carova</b>, is an unincorporated community in Currituck County in the northeast corner of North Carolina. Located on Currituck Banks north of Bodie Island, it has no paved roads connecting it to Sandbridge in Virginia Beach, Virginia, or Corolla, North Carolina, and no bridge to Knotts Island. Access is by boat or four-wheel-drive vehicle, driving north along the beach from Corolla; access from Virginia is limited to pedestrians.
