<br><br><span><b>Description of this section</b>: This section
begins with over a mile paddle through part of the Cayler Prairie
Complex. As the stream winds its way through the hills, blooming prairie
forbs are evident. At this time, purple prairie clover, Canada milk
vetch, common milkweed, yarrow, tick trefoil, and other species were
evident. Warm season grasses of Indiangrass, big and little bluestem, and
switchgrass were moving towards blooming, as well. Meadowlarks, eastern
kingbirds, song sparrows and dickcissels were calling along the way and, where
willow were present along the shore, female red-winged blackbirds warned me
