The Filson Historical Society now serves as a museum primarily dedicated to William Clark and Meriwether Lewis. Filson showcases seven letters from Lewis and Clark’s expedition. Not only does this historical center have a collection of Lewis and Clark’s journal entries, but they also possess the horn from a bighorn sheep that was acquired during their journey. Filson Historical center is a treasury for hand-drawn portraits of members of the Corps of Discovery.
