Pinckney Recreation Area is a paradise for backpackers, mountain bikers, anglers, and other recreation enthusiasts. Pinckney is known for its extensive trail system and chain of excellent fishing lakes. Over forty miles of multi-use trail with remote campsites afford a backcountry experience. Snowmobiling in designated areas and ice fishing is available on Silver, North and South Lakes. 186 modern campsites, a camper cabin that sleeps six and has two bedrooms located near the modern restroom and showers at Bruin Lake.
